Hi everyone,
I recently bought an old Australian mountain bike called "The Melbourne" from a friend. I was really excited as I really want to start doing some bike touring, and also use this bike as a city commuter. The frame is a lugged, double-butted Tange steel. The problem is that someone had successfully removed one and tried to saw off the other rear brake column braze-ons (no damage to the seat stays luckily). Is there a bike shop in Vancouver that will remove the one damaged braze-on and weld on new ones? Thanks.
