Southern California - Is there a website that shows bike routes in LA area

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Here is the link I tfunk is referring to:
http://www.bicyclela.org/Maps_Other.htm

The top one has the link to LA County. I like this map, but some areas like in Palos Verdes, actually have more ridable streets than shown. So if you are looking for a new route, you might want to try it first in a car.

You can use Google Street View (if available) to see the roads also. I use it and find it a good source on whether the road is ridable or not.

+1 Google Street View and I will add Bing.com maps "bird's eye view".
