Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - Looking for a frame upgrade from Steamroller

I have a 2009 surly steamroller, but I'm looking for a good upgrade. I don't want to spend more then $1,000 and I want a good looking ride.

You have a 2009 Steamroller and you're already looking to upgrade to something more comfortable? I agree that sounds a little odd. If you want something really comfortable and lugged, find a well-built older bike with relaxed geometry for way less than the price of an "upgrade" and convert it. And keep the Steamroller.

I guess it depends on why you want to upgrade. If its not comfortable, maybe spending $100 on a good fitting would be a better use of funds. If you want something lighter, then there are options out there.

Yes, something lighter, and I need a size bigger then what I have. I have a 59 and the next step up for a steamroller is 62 and I'm not sure if that would be too big. I definatley want something lighter, with lugs, and fits me. I also made the mistake of painting my steamroller black and now I hate it. I'm thinking about a Bob Jackson. What do you guys think? Thanks for all the advice so far.
