Close is a relative term. On a global scale, I am close. But it is still a 3.5 hour drive. ;)

No kidding... I didn't know where you were, but it is right where I expected after seeing your message, and used Mapquest to figure out where Clarion is.

What's up with that path that runs by the water in Harrisburg? I saw it a few years ago during a business trip but was not able to explore it. Is there any meat to this thing, or is it just a small, local footpath?

I'll be riding out of Emlenton this weekend. We have a cabin along the Allegheny River. I love doing road rides in the area that cross the river valleys. I will probably do one ride from Emlenton up 38 to 322 West to the bike trail at Van. Then follow the trail to it's end at Belmar then go up and over the hill and work back to Franklin. From Franklin I'll take the Justus Trail along the river back to Emlenton. It is a 68 mile ride that feels like a 100.

Well, I'm about 2 hrs south of ya near Waynesburg, PA. I'll bet there's some great riding up that way though.
