Hi there.
Am cycling a tandem (setting off thursday July 15) from Manhattan, NYC to Nebraska. I need volunteers to jump on the back of the tandem to join me! It's all to raise money for the Red Cross and Victim Support (a british charity supporting victims of crime). I am cycling from A to B - literally. 'A' is a small fishing village in Norway, Bee (the closest thing the world has to 'B') is a little village in Seward County, Nebraska.
I have already completed the first half of the trip - 2750 miles through Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, and back to London.
The next part of the plan - is to go via Manhattan to Tarrytown, to Poughkeepsie, Woodstock, Albany, Little Falls, Rome, Lake Placid, Ogdenburg, Ottawa, Perth, Madoc, Peterborough, Oshawa, Toronto, Burlington, London, Windsor, Detroit, Toledo, Angola, SouthBend, Gary, Chicago, De Kalb, Muscatine, Oskaloosa, Des Moines, Anita, Omaha, Lincoln, Seward, Bee.
The plan is that people join me on the back for a day or so, mostly local people have joined me so far, though a couple of people have travelled miles to join me! It also helps having a local on the back - it means I don't get lost as much. I've even had Miss Universe join me for a day!
