Just going by looks, I vastly prefer the Mercier - much "cleaner" and consistent imo. It's also a lot cheaper.

The Bowery rides very stiff. I was looking at it or the Bianchi Pista and went with the Pista. It also looks much uglier in person.

To each his own, i have a bowery and like it a lot. I like the bigger tube aluminum stuff though, some people don't. Mine rides nice, not too rough. I got mine for $400 even. Just my two cents.

Some people don't like sloping top tubes, some don't mind.
