i rode with the folks from chicago freeride on saturday night where they crashed the LATE ride. it was a blast and some of the nicest riders i've met. but they organize a monthly ride, complete with beer stops, anything like this in the way of fixed gear riders here in chicago?

Not that I know of, but why not start something?
I talked to 165 last week, he mentioned putting a ride together this upcoming weekend.

how's next saturday sound? maybe give us some time to put it together, get the word out...unless someone puts one together this coming weekend.

tentatively...lets call it 9pm on saturday 7/24. someone else come up with a good meeting place (i'm still a little new to chicago).
Saturday nights are bad for me personally, always something going on - how about a Sunday morning/afternoon ride? Either way no worries - so long as folks get together to ride.
