Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - some mother****ing ***** hit me

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

So, I was on a 2 lane road, going plenty fast as the speed limit is 15mph. I go to turn right, the road I'm turning onto is clear. So, I turn and then the ****ing ***** behind me sideswipes me and hits the back triangle of my bike. I go flying and so does my bike. The only real damage is the bar that runs from the seat post to the axel on the non-crank side is a little bent, like a miniscule amount. But seriously, **** that *****. I yelled at the top of my lungs at her for a good 5 minutes and then got on my bike and left.

thats ****ty dude... did you get a plate number? the fact that he hit your rear triangle with the front of his car must mean you were in pretty clear view of the driver....
D:
You left without getting her information? Man she should be paying for damages.

I'm trying to picture this...
So you're making a right turn, presumably from the right lane, onto a clear cross street. The speed limit is 15mph, so I'll assume you're doing at least the limit.
Unless you either slowed to a crawl, or the person who hit you was driving insanely close to start with, or was speeding like a maniac... How do they sideswipe you?
Just as a note - don't leave the scene from someone hitting you. Get the police involved, file a report, get insurance information. Injuries aren't always apparent at the scene of an accident due to adrenaline/endorphins, etc. As long as you have a police report on file and an open insurance case, you've got some fallback if something becomes evident a couple weeks down the road.

did they stop?
yelling at her for 5 minutes accomplishes nothing. getting her info and filing a report does. glad you're ok though.

And how do they bend the NDS seat stay that way?
