Southern California - My Training Team GMR Thurs Reunion Ride Pix

My BigBear training team reunited for another GMR ride. 42 miles of fun to the village. We did a nice group ride type thang. Everything was cool till I gave Grrly some of my Gatorade powder and a piece of my Clif Bar. Never again! We gave her a one minute headstart on the return figuring we'd catch her on the downhill. Maybe even the short climbs. Heck no! She vanished! I held back taking a pic for about 30 seconds as JustMe floated away too. Next thing I know I see him flying up a climb. Holy shmoly, I think the whole team was on EPO. Only reason I caught back up to JustMe was that he pulled over and waited right before the last descent. Other than getting smoked, it was a nice team ride to the village.

Were you on singles? I don't remember seeing a tandem. I didn't see many riders, a group of 3 girls, another 2 girls going up that I remember. We we near the village or the shack area? Hmm, maybe 3 guys but I can't seem to recall what they looked like.:D


Jetwave, I think I look a little tight in JustMe's picture. I was worried as I had to step up onto the edge of the bank which was pretty unstable ground. That and I was worried that he might try to push me over the mtn side!:p

You guys are the best, It's funny I ride the SART everyday to work. I have done GMR a couple times a month for the last 5 years and have never hooked up with you. Maybe soon....John

Happy reunion ride! I've never done a reunion ride.

My last reunion anything was my 30 year high school reunion. That was almost 10 years ago and there was no ride! :D
