Sitting here this evening when my three dogs hear something outside (what they hear is beyond me most times), so I get up and let them out the back sliding door to the patio. They go charging out barking and growling. The cat is sitting in the middle of the patio. She doesn't bat an eye or budge as they come charging towards and past her. Our largest dog stops short and gives the cat a lick. The cat swats her with a paw and gives her a lick back. I smile, thinking that if cats and dogs can live together, there is hope that someday we humans will figure out how to do it. ;)

I am coming to the conclusion that cats and dogs are smarter than most of us.

Yeah, well, a couple of minutes in P&R should take care of that!

When I was hospitalized I was watching a show that compared chimps to man while the Doc was making his round in my room, one part mentioned that chimps seem to have better memories than men, but still swing in the trees while men travel to the moon, then asked what it is that men have over apes? so the doc says,"If I could answer that I wouldn't be here working so hard!" so I told him that I could answer it, he says,"Go ahead, answer it." I replied with the following,"Men have nothing over Apes, if we did we'd be in the jungles living the good life and the Chimps would be wasting time and money going to the moon just to say they did" He smiled and said,"Good answer!" :thumb:
