I have searched the forums and see very little about this bike. I'm looking for a commuter and this seems to fit the bill, with the '09s significantly on sale in my LBS.
The drivetrain components are identical to the 7.5 FX and some of the other components are a bit better. Does anyone know what "gold" aluminum means...these Trek marketing folks have created some many aluminum types but how on earth do you compare them? Does "gold" mean the frame will weigh more or less than my 7.5's "alpha black" frame?
