Ok, im looking at a frame on performance bike and was wondering what their sizing was? The frame im looking is said to be offered in XS through XL. In thepicture of the fram, there is a sticker on the seat tube that says 51. I am assuming this means 51cm. With that being said, I want to think that is a XS seeing as how very few people make anything smaller. So, 51 being XS, a Medium in theory would be a 55cm which is what I ride. Does anyone here know how they size their frames? I am checking out the Performance aluminum road frame.

I know I know, this is the SS/FG forum but I know some of you guys buy from there so I though I would try here first.

Here is a link to the frame. If there is no clear cut answer here, I will just email performance.

If you're looking at that to make a SS for your girlfriend (as you posted in another thread), those vertical drops may make it difficult.

(BTW...your gf's current conversion kinda rocks)

why wouldn't you just do that in the first place?

No, im lookin to make an actual road bike. Im wondering what size I would need from them to fit me. I rid 55-56cm.

I figured someone here might have some incite. Maybe someone bought a frame and used their recommendation on size and it was off.

Maybe you're more likely to get insight regarding that particular frame in the road forum?

Yeah that crossed my mind to. Again I was just asking if anyone knew the sizing on Performance house brand frames. Since obviously, no one here has any incite or experience, I will ask elsewhere.

I'm building a road bike around the Performance frame. Send their instant chat a message. they'll tell you exactly the dimensions.

BTW, the current price is rediculous. If you be patient, I've seen it as low as $69.

Gotcha. I wasn't trying to be a jerk...I just saw that you were asking about smaller frames in another thread for your gf and I thought you were asking about the smaller-sized Performance frame here.
