Today I was so excited, I ordered some New Bianchi Pedals from bianchiusa last week and the the UPS man brought them this afternoon :)
After work I installed the new pedals and decided to go for a short ride, I got about a mile into the ride and once again I heard the creeking and cracking coming from the crank arms. :(
So I turned back to my house, bummed out since I havent ridden the Giro in a while.
When I got home I took my shoes off and noticed the cleats were pretty worn and there were scratches on the pedals where the cleat screws are, so I installed the new cleats the came with my new pedals, in hopes it was just the screw creeking and and cracking with each pedal stroke.
After the cleats were on I again jumped on my bike and again the creeking and cracking sounds were there :(
So tomorrow I am taking my bike to chainwheel drive, (not my normal bike shop, since they deal in trek and not bianchi) since they are closer than my normal Bianchi dealer who is in St Pete.
I will have them inspect my BB and my cranks, hopefully its not too serious.
Is there anything else I should have the LBS inspect while I have the bike there?
any input would be appreciated, I hope they can have my Giro back to me before the weekend, but if not I guess it will be me and the TT again..
