Here are a few pictures from the weekend. I know I haven't posted in a while so here's my contribution to the forums. All three pictures were taken by Matt (my roommate).

PICTURE ONE: Me, Randy (crustedfish) and Jeremy (covered by the tree) playing bike polo this past weekend down in Chinatown. It was fun as shiit and I'll definitely be there as often as humanly possible.

PICTURE TWO: A rad picture of me taking a swing at the ball in polo. I thought it captured the intensity of the game really well. Props to Matt for that. Plus it's a picture of me -- you really can't go wrong with that now can you?

PICTURE THREE: I held my first no-handed track stand this weekend and Matt captured it on film. Awesomeness. Randy can also attest that it was indeed sustained so don't go questioning me suckas!!

Wow, you guys use big gears and big balls to play polo with!

Most polo bikes I see in PDX are geared really low, and the ball used here is definitely smaller...

Is that a Chicago thing? (Like big softballs and thick-crust pizza?). ;)

I'm the only one who rides a big gear and it's mostly because I'm ********.

As for the ball-size: I dunno but it seems that a mini-basket ball or mini-soccer ball is the poison of choice (probably because they last quite a while and have a nice feel to them).
