P.S.: One of the shop fellows is looking for a Paramount, 52cm center to top - preferably. 53 max.

Wow!
Looks like a great little shop. Where is it located? I really like that black Paramount. Looks like my size too. :thumb: Is it for sale by chance?

Miami, Florida - though these machines are the only C&V stuff you'll see in the entire shop. They also own the '76 Paramount Track + the ladies/men's chrome examples that were at the Volksblast show. The lady who owns the shop also has a pair of chrome Paramounts of her own.
I must agree about the close-coupled Paramount. It is one of the spiffiest looking Paramounts I've ever seen - tops a chrome one any day of the week.
Absolutely nothing is for sale.

Kurt,
Are you sure you didn't die and go to Schwinn heaven? What a wonderful collection! Do they ever come down for a ride?

first in flight cycles in stateville, nc, and cycles d'oro in greensboro are both like that - all these cool vintage bikes hanging up never getting ridden or sold. Nice to look at but I would rather see them out and about!

That is a very cool place. I think we should all post pix of our favorite LBS. What do you think? should we make it a new thread?

Good question. Part of the building is mainly windows, upper half, as you see, has shutters.

Very cool pics....would you help a noob out and tell us a little more about that black Paramount. Funny looking seat tube - I bet that was a trick or two to make at the time!

Other then I'm pretty sure it's post '72, I know little about it. The curved seat tube was an attempt at a shorter wheelbase.
