I'm in GJ also.

If you are a gal, I think the bike shop in Palisade does a Weds nite gals road ride around East Orchard Mesa. I did the ride a couple of times earlier in the summer and it's a slow to med paced social ride.

There used to be organized road rides in GJ, but now people just meet informally at Canyon View Park at G & 24 Rd on Tues and Thurs eves for rides. I have not ridden those rides for a long time.

There is a smaill group of women that meet at Canyon View on Tues and Thurs--averag 15 to 15 mph

Not a gal; married 32 year old guy looking to do some riding.

Thanks for the info though as I'll attempt to get my wife out there.

I guess I'll just start riding around Palisade and Orchard Mesa and I'm sure I'll eventually meet up with some people.

Guys ride in also Tues and Thurs at Canyon View. It usually breaks up into 2 groups with some stragglers. Fast Group averages 23-24, 2nd Group averages 19-20. More Group 2 riders on Tues than on Thurs.
