In case you don't frequent the Road forum, I posted an amusing story and a hard learned lesson. Since part of the problems stemmed from being old enough to need reading glasses, I thought the rest of the 50+ crowd would enjoy my mis-adventure

BTW, Hammer Balm is bengay/liquid heat type product.

So you're not recommending that for use as a personal lubricant.

I missed something. What was the intended purpose of the stuff you used? Was it a form of Liquid Heat?

As our eyes get weaker we can not read some of the warnings on bottles. I bought some glue recently. Most glue comes off the fingers reasonably easy. Not that stuff. I had to scrub until my skin was noticeably affected.
Hate to imagine you would have that glue down there. May put you in a hospital I think.
Glad you survived.

Well, KY is marketing some stuff for her that is supposed to provide a pleasant warm tingling sensation. This would be that on steroids!

And for those who didn't get it, Hammer Balm is a liquid heat type product meant for sore muscles.

During this years, AIDS/LIfeCycle ride from SF to LA, my buddy spread sunscreen on his chamois. He noticed it before he put his shorts on, then joked (I think) that he got strange looks when he rubbed his shorts on his face to utilize the sunscreen.

Also on ALC a couple of years ago, someone used toothpaste as a butt balm.
