Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

The law has been in effect since the 70's but this is the first year I know of that they are enforceing
it. They have issued 27 citations so far this year. It's a tool for them to stop suspicious people, or people
doing something wrong, it carries a ten dollar fine. I guess I better start hauling bikes down to get them registered. Oh well, it's free and if it ever get's stolen and shows up somewhere they will know who's it was.

Maybe it's time you get some people, go to the town hall and petition to have it changed...

Peace

Unfortunately, the way the town hall wonks think...why are we giving the licence away for free? Lets charge for the license and continue to fine those that don't comply.

There, they changed it.
