I'm having a rear wheel built with a nexus 8 internal hub (36 hole) and need rim suggestions. Size is 26" and I usually run 2.1" tires. I ride mostly road and gravel path with a little off road. The bike has V-brakes. Price in the +/- $50 range.

I weigh 210. The builder recommended an Alex DX32 which is strong but weighs 770 grams. I'm looking for something lighter.

On sale for $20 at universal cycles. Outstanding "bulletproof" rim, weight (565g) is reasonable considering their strength.
