Does anyone know if i can convert a zipp 404 track rear wheel to a road hub?

It's really called a "404"? Is that because they can't be found anywhere? :)

you probably could, but it would be a royal pain. the threads for a freewheel and threads for a track cog are the same, however, I am not sure if a multi-speed freewheel would fit on. then, you'd be limited to an 8 speed cluster becuase thats the most gears that they ever put on a screw-on freewheel. to further complicate things, you need a longer axle and a re-dishing of the wheel.
an alternative might be the have an expert cut out the spokes and replace the hub with a road freehub, but I've never heard of anyone doing that. then again, i've also never heard of anyone screwing a multi-speed freewheel onto a track hub.
i'd keep it the way it is. you could make a pretty crucial fixie with that wheel...
