Utility Cycling - ApocoCycle project.

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
What ever came of my dear friend Apococycle? it died a horrid death. we actualy lost it off the back of truck while on highway and it was crushed by a gigantic rig that was behind us. ohh I even gave it a grave. it was a awesome ride. SO! I decided i'm gonna revive my dear Apococycle! better then ever!
And I'll even ask for ideas here and see what I hear. and use ideas if I like em.
So far I have a rear triangle and loads of parts.
So what should it be? road? vintage 3 speed? mountain bike? beach cruiser? ideas! I even kept a part of Apoco for this project!

Looks like the vollenteer is from the MTB family:D
I vote you build a cruiser type this time, more upright riding position.
Scary to hear about you loosing the longtail in the road. Around here you would be nailed for that.
What happened to the green mixte longtail? Still running? My next one is going to be a 20" detatchable. May end up as my only longtail. Easyer to transport, easyer to store. Use it mainly for riding with the dog, and he do not need all the space you get one full size longtail.
The mixte's shifter went into the back rim then the bike sat leaning for a while and I borrowed parts from it lol. I have the same frame again though lol, I did build a cruiser one before. it stopped here.

The cruiser looks good. I think you build a lot :D . I am trying to cut back, but ther is no local 12 step program for bike addicts :)
