I see the admins added a "live chat" section on BF...but it seems there is never anyone in there.

What's up with that? It seems to me that the chat would be better than "foo" since it is in real time...but maybe not?

I think it's a good idea, the live chat...to be able to chat in "real time" about cycling with people who don't think I am crazy for being crazy about cycling.

posting is often better than chat in the way that texting is better than phone calls in certain circumstances. i guess it depends.

The thing I don't like about chat is that there are usually about 4 different conversations going on at the same time and with the server being so slow and the screen not updating, it's hard to follow along.

yep. it doesn't help that it burps and/or freezes up on a regular basis.
