I have Dura Ace 9spd levers on my K2, I rarely ride in the drops. Probably spend 90% of my time riding on the tops or the hoods. Anyways, I have been trying riding in the drops while descending, since I have heard from others on this board that you get increased control. Long story made short, I seem to really have to reach to get to the brake levers when in the drops. I have 3TTT Zepp bars. Is there a way to adjust the brake levers closer to the bars? I dont think I have short fingers, but, who knows??? Thoughts?

Grow longer fingers! No?

Are your brakes up a bit higher on the bars? If so, adjusting them down will close the gap and tighten the angle a bit. The tradeoff is that your hands will be lower when riding on the tops.

Shimano has an Ultegra level shifter/lever set badged "600" that is for smaller hands and shorter fingers.

Do you know if the 600 works with the new Shimano 10-speed? ThanX!

No, the Ultegra levers are still only 9 speed. They will probably upgrade soon, but who knows if the smaller levers will live on.

Do a search on this subject. Not too long ago there was a post/picture of a reasonable fix for this problem. It required some stiff foam cut to size and inserted between the lever and the hood body.

There was a thread a couple of weeks back where someone created a shim to bring the levers closer to the bar. It's exactly what the "short reach" version of the Ultegra levers do anyway. Do a search for it, there were pictures and everything.
