I ride a 2003 Haro Backtrail cruiser, and I like to use a front brake occasionally for (very) basic flatland stuff. I want to get a new one, so I am trying to decide between the Diatech Hombre Fiesta (I have a non-Fiesta Hombre on the back) or an Odyssey Evolver. I've heard good things about the Evolver, but it's 7-8 bucks more and about 3 ounces heavier (the bike is very heavy as it is). Any thoughts/suggestions?

Thanks.

Both are excellent, I personally run an Dia-Compe 990 on the front, which is very similar to the fiesta and I run an Evolver in the rear. I am very happy with both setups and would say that you will be just as happy with either.

I think the Evolver may be a little easier to setup, but once setup neither brake will really require any upkeep. So just get the Fiesta, save a few bucks, and buy me a Pepsi next time you see me. ;)
