Anyone going to ride for the Cancer Awareness (http://www.active.com/page/Event_Details.htm?event_id=1764966&assetId=08b55ef2-481c-4535-8faa-f67d2330f20d) ride/run in modesto on September 19th.

Its 45$ to ride, and you get a jersey. The longest ride will be a 100km.

Looks like a good ride. $45 with a jersey is a steal! I am considering.
Thanks for posting!

I saw a flier for that when getting a flat repaired. Thought about it, but I have so much on my plate that I don't think I can commit to any more charity rides for the time being.

Why don't the 30 milers get to ride the ToC portion too though? :o) I find it kind of funny that they mentioned that in the route description for the 100k.

I sure would like to see the jersey. If it looks good, I'm in.

It is a fun ride and well supported. It is 100% flat and a good way to see how fast one can ride a metric. I did it last year and will do it again this year. I have no excuse since I live in Modesto. The jerseys are decent; well worth 45.00 and the food is good.:thumb:

I registered for the 100K! Anyone else decide to ride? Registration w/jersey "guaranty" ends 9/4!!

Cheers,
