Hey guys, im moving out to the United Arab Emerites in a place near Dubai so im for sure gonna get a bike because ill be able to drive it all year round out there. So my question is.. because when i get my bike (super bike) i will be 17 years old, what do u guys think the maximum cc's on a bike i will be able to get so that i can still get insurance on it, bearing in mind i have never owned a bike and dont yet have my license? Cuz i doubt i will be able to get insured for a bike with 1200cc like the kawasaki ZX-12R. lol.

Just another thing.. do u have to have ur own personal bike to obtain a M2 license? (just making sure)

Anyway thx guys. peace.

1. This might not be the best place for you to ask this question, as most of the bikes in this area are 1 human-power.

2. you might not want to hear this, but I wouldn't go more than 750. Also, style of bike makes a big difference. Avoid the crotch-rockets or you won't find any insurance.

I suggest you find a progressive or dairyland insurance company agent, and talk to them about your options BEFORE you buy a bike. Progressive and Dariyland insure more bikes than Allstate/State farm etc.

Finally, if the bike will be located in the UAE, I can't help you, since you will probably have to get it insured in the UAE by a UAE company.
