Just got my new wheel with a SON generator hub. The 2 connectors on the right side spin along with the wheel causing the wire to wrap around the axle. Shouldn't the 2 connectors remain stationary while the hub spins?
Thanks

I had that same problem with my Shimano dynamo hub; it seems I didn't tighten the pitlock when I changed my tires last winter. I blame a telephone call for distracting me.
I was lucky I didn't loose my front tire (and my teeth) on my commute to work, I needed the light on the way home and couldn't get it to turn on, it would flash then pull out of the connector.
Anyways, I just had to tighten the nut and it was working again.

Yes, I can confirm too that the connectors on the SON hub I have, spin only when the wheel spins with the skewer loose.
