Thanks for posting this...' had not seen it. I just checked the PC 1090 Sram chain and PowerLock on my cross bike. The link was stamped with an 'A' so life is good. ' bought that chain new on Ebay about 18 months ago.

Thanks for the "link". I have date code H - must have been leftovers from 2007, which I purchased in 2009.

Thanx for the warning.
Fortunately we use 9-speed chains/links.
But did have a chainlink plate that cracked last year that had caused some skipping. Found it before chain failure.
