It's titled something like an early Tour de France. It shows German soldiers with their rifles ostensibly pedaling in France during the occupation.

The so-called mechanized Germans relied on many tens of thousands of horses as well as bikes.

one of my friends/customers emailed that to me with the caption...rare 1940 Tour De France photo...the year never registered with me..sort of like one of those riddles with a trick wording...
