Bicycle Mechanics - Proper compression plug/top cap for my headset

I recently bought a new Bianchi EV3 Aluminum frame with a carbon fiber fork. The fork's steerer is carbon fiber as well. The frame uses a Cane Creek 1 1/8" threadless Aheadset.

I am new to threadless headsets so I'm lost now.

I have an ITM Super Over stem. When clamped to the top of the carbon steerer, the height is perfect. No need to cut the steerer. However, I do not have a top cap or compression plug for this headset/stem/steerer. Actually, I have a Campagnolo Record top cap, but it has a metal star fangled nut which I know I am not to use in a carbon steerer.

What top cap & compression plug do I need to finally secure this stem/headset/steerer and get to riding? Do I need spacers if the height is okay as described above?

Assume I know nothing about headsets and steerer tubes, because this is the one part of the bike I've never understood, even on threaded setups, and now I'm paranoid, because I don't want to hose my carbon fork & steerer. Thanks!
