LOL. Somebody that could put out 272 watts, take a picture and not fall over!
I recently made a handlebar mount for my camera. Now with the bike-cam, I can take (and have taken) hundreds of photos during a single ride.
Here are three of the pics I took on the commute to work the other morning along the Erie Canalway MUP.

Our club held the annual Wright Wride Sunday. My friends and I opted for the 50 mile route. The first 30 miles was quite hilly for this area. The Garmin saw quite a few 9%+ grades:twitchy:
I took this one at the half way point on one of the hills.
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c30/uowenba/WrightWride001.jpg
After the hills and lunch the last 20 miles was nice rollers. It's been a cool summer and it isn't often we see this much green in August. In fact it only got into the high 60's Sunday and many were wearing arm warmers and jackets....something we seldom do in August:)

We stopped for a short break and this was our welcoming committee. After sniffing the bike tires and checking us out he continued into the beans to hunt:)

I'd like to hear how the Quark works for her. Also how it interfaces with the 705. BTW, that bike is too clean. She needs to ride it more. ;)

The installation and setup of the Quarq is very simple. You pair the Quarq with the 705 and that is all there is to it. The 705 interfaces with Cycling Peaks by dragging and dropping history files from the 705 into her journal. It is very slick.
As far as using power, she loves it. She is producing more power during her intervals. Much is due to knowing the target power, hitting it and holding it.
,
Well, it is my job to keep the bike clean, and it is depicted after we picked it up from the shop after the installation of the Quarq and new gruppo - new cassette, chain, bar tape and crank and chain rings.
Hi,

Managed to win the last race of the series -- Masters 40+. I was in a two-man breakaway for the last 3 miles of the 24 mile race. We were working together pretty well and coming out of turn 4 I was on his wheel and decided to go.
I was able to hold off the field. He got caught by the front of the field and finished 4th.

I haven't won many races lately but I had "glad to be alive" ride this morning.
The great thing about riding in semi-rural Kentucky is that they are very welcoming of bikers like us. Here is a sign at the parking lot of a tavern/liquor store that I passed on today's ride.

I would have hung around and knocked a few down but I wanted to get my ride in before it got too hot today. That, and I was afraid I might get beat up.
I stopped at Granny's Restaurant, Tool Shed, and Cat House (just kidding about the cats, I didn't see any) and here is my ride, right next to some mean hardware for sale:

I smoked some guy in the Walmart parking lot who was operating a motorized wheel chair. Of course, he didn't know we were racing, so maybe it wasn't all that impressive I guess.

Here's a manipulated (can you tell?) shot of our little group drafting today. We did 50 miles, including a 3 mile climb for a total of 3300 feet of climbing. I don't like climbing.

That's just about to the top of the Mt. Tabor hill. That hill has beaten down my wife and I on our tandem several times in the last few years. Steep + many cyclists all over the road (some walking) + frequent car traffic = not a piece of cake

I've looked at the Hilly Hundred before but the thought of all those people on the road always turns me away. I imagine it would be difficult to ride one's pace.

Consistently attracts around 5,000 cyclists. The roads can get crowded. All levels of riders, which can make things 'interesting'. I greatly enjoy it,though.

This was taken Saturday on Skyline Drive in Shenandoah National Park, at The Pinnacles overlook. I've had the bike for about three weeks now, but two of those weeks I was out of the state, so I've only had 4 our 5 quality rides on it so far. I did the Reston Century on it last weekend, and today I did 102 miles on Skyline Drive.
Saturday, Velodiva and I participated in a practice individual time trial 9.7 miles. We both set personal records for the event. After the last rider went on the course, we did another one as a team. It was a beautiful morning with temperatures in the 60s and no wind.
This was the last practice TT of the season. There were six events this year with about 80 participants per event. The events raised over $10,000 for the Lance Armstrong Cancer Foundation. My wife and I participated in all the events.
Here is a pic of Velodiva and two of her competitors chatting after the race.

A typical Monday ride for our group, The Tweeners. When it is just 6-8 of us, we keep moving. The first leg was 37 miles without putting our foot down. Then 23 miles home. This picture is shaky, as I took it over my shoulder on the fly. I like it because it makes this hill look like a steep mutha. In actuality, it's a bump on the American River Bike Trail.

So when's the B-B-Q?
Have a road kill in the Freezer right now. 40lbs of Roe Deer. Mate of mine is a Forest warden and they have a trade in Fresh Deer meat. Cost me a Trip out to sag him when he broke his chain yesterday 20 miles from home. Luckily I had taken the tools and and a selection of 8 and 9 speed chains and managed to fit the 9 speed to his "New" Mtb so he could finish the ride. This was his way of saying thanks for the chain.

We did a cyclo cross practice in our yard on Sunday. 10 riders eventually showed up.

The .9 mile course started on the street in front of our home. The neighbors must have wondered what the stakes and caution tape meant. Once in the back yard the course went behind the garden and then presented two barriers to run over.

Here's a few from a ride a friend and I did a couple weeks ago. Started in Eureka Springs, AR (hilly and crooked), rode hwy 62 to 187, crossed Beaver Dam (photo a water was taken off dam), the looped around the town of Beaver (that's where the wooded bridge is located). Was a little over 30 mile ride.
Why do my photos show up as thumbnails, and the others are full sized on screen? I did upload from computer, not an online site.

Practice TT? Is that the name of the race or were they really just for practice? Regardless, it sounds like you were having fun.
Our TT season officially starts in October, but the first TT (pre-series race) is in two weeks.

Yes. It is Caņada road. They are called practice TTs because they are non-sanctioned and precede sanctioned TTs. For example, this Sunday is Esparto TT. Also, we call them practice TT or training events and not races. If you call an event a race, in order to get insurance, you have to require everyone to have a racing license. The other objective is to offer riders who have no experience or aero equipment to ride in their own group. So we have a non-aero Merckx category. We allow rebents, tandems and generally anything that rolls that is human powered.
It is interesting that your TT season starts in October. After Esparto, our TT season is over although in reality, we have very few sanctioned TT events. We start a low key hill climb series next month that climbs many of the major climbs in the area and culminates with a race up Mount Hamilton on Thanksgiving morning.
