Kona Bicycle Company Demo Day

Saturday August 29th 2009
10:00 to 6:00PM
Location: Top of the Notch Restaurant
Top of Chair 1, Mt Baldy Ski Area.

Kona's North American bike park guy, Kelly Steelman, will on hand all day to answer questions.

Redhook California Duathlon at Mt Baldy.

Saturday September 12th 2009
Race time 8:00 AM, registration starts 6:00 AM

The duathlon combines a 10 mile biking and 3 mile running event in one race at elevations between 6,000 and 8,000 feet.

Competitors start in the Mt Baldy Ski Area parking lot biking down to San Antonio Falls and up to Top of the Notch Restaurant and back to back to parking lot.

Transition to running back up to the finish line and awards party at the Notch.

Longboard Island Lager Mountain Bike X-C Loop Race

Saturday September 19th.2009
Race time 8:00 AM, registration starts 6:00 AM

Off road high altitude challenge cross country mountain bike race. All levels of riders race a 2 ½ loop course at elevations between 7,500 to 8,200 feet around two reservoirs with challenging uphill climbs and fast downhill sections. Finish line and awards party at Top of the Notch Restaurant.

Mt Baldy can be reached by taking the Mountain exit in Upland off the 210 Freeway and going north following signs to Mt Baldy Resorts. Alternatively take the Baseline exit in Claremont and go north on Padua. Turn right on Mt Baldy Road taking that all the way through the Village. Mt Baldy Road dead ends in the Ski Lift parking lot.
