I rode to the bike shop in Forest Hills today to look around (they had the Bianchi Pista in my size!) and finally bought a couple of water bottles and cages for my bike.

I also got a mini-wedge to fit my patch kit and finally finally mounted my frame pump on my frame.

I'm so happy to not have to wear a backpack full of gear (including the 32oz water bottle I used to keep in there) anymore.

Oh, I also drooled over a Specialized Allez Elite, the Giro Atmos helmet and a Langster S-Works frameset.

Man I wish I was rich.

Hey - try the Giro Pneumo... much cheaper and carries most, if not all, of the same features. Bought one a couple weeks ago and it's great!

Which bike store in FH? I am trying to talk my sister out of buying a Wal Mart POS and she's near FH. Also, do you recommend the place?

Hi, the shop is called Spin City Cycle, on Queens Blvd. off of Ascan Ave. (near the big Catholic Church).

I bought a Specialized Hardrock MTB (which I sold) from them earlier this year. They're OK, if you live in Queens, close to Forest Hills, I'd recommend them, otherwise, I like Bicycle Habitat in Manhattan.

I heard they're a bit pricey, but compared to the other bike shops I've visited, I don't see any difference in prices (of bikes and accessories), and the service is decent.

Definitely tell your sis Not To Get A Wal-Mart Bike!!!

Yeah, I was going to get them, but thought I'd manage sticking everything in my backpack, but it's so uncomfortable.
