Oh shut up.
Could be worse.
(That's Comic Sans, if your OS/browser are blocking the experience.)
Could be worse.
Gaaah! My eyes!
Or it could be The Unfortunate Font of the Decade. (Impact)

I hate you, I hate you all....

(Humorously, I'm just checking BF after shipping a graphics package for a new client...)
Or it could be The Unfortunate Font of the Decade. (Impact)
And Impact is especially lovely in small type sizes!

If anyone still actually cared about graphic design there would be a commercial artist job market.
There is not.
Graphic design has been ceded to the secretaries and the web weenies. God help us all.

call me a philistine, but i can't tell the difference.
this thread is a font of confusion.
And Impact is especially lovely in small type sizes! It may look like arse at full sizes, but it's a whole different kind of arse when small. That takes talent to create!

Tell that to all the graphic artists who lost their jobs over the past 20 years.

For what, their website? Or just the names in the pictures of their furniture? I don't get it.
I don't get Ikea either, I guess people like their furniture? I've never been to one of their stores.
Ikea is like the ultimate big box store. They buy things in such HUGE quantity that they can really do things cheap. From the few things I've got there (no actual "furniture" though), they seem kind of cheap quality. I get a "cheap feel" with most of the stuff at Ikea.

Cheap, but at least most of their stuff isn't particle board ;)
It's also inexpensive cause almost every thing is "flat packed" - a dining table + chairs in a 40x60x6" box = cheap shipping. A ship container from where ever can fit a whole lot more tables in 6" tall boxes than fully assembled tables and chairs :D

I've been to an IKEA once. After the ex and I split up, I gave her all our mismatched craptacuar furniture and went to IKEA to buy all new stuff.
Under $1800 and I furnished an entire 2 bedroom apartment, including leather sofa and reclining chair and a 4-person dining set. It all fit in the back of a Ford E-350 cargo van.

This.
If you're a poor college student, or just poor in general...and want decent looking furniture, its the place to go.
