I assume you use a hand powered bike/trike?

Wouldn't this require a special seat of some sort? I have observed folks with no use of their legs riding on trikes - sort of like a recumbent. We have several who practice on the trails near here.

My hat always goes off to them for their perseverance, and I tip my hat to you also! My son has no use of his arms or legs, so he does not have the opportunity that you have!

FYI, we do have one forum member, 83yo, who rides with just one leg.

Thanks for the clarification!

You should never be "sorry" that you have legs.

My second son also broke his back (L6) in 1998, and has since recovered about 95% of the use of his legs. He now rides a trike. I know just a little about what you were feeling and what you stated to the Dr., having two sons with a spinal cord injury.

So glad you are riding a bike. That is great! :D

Hope you solve your seat problem.
