We are headed South to Med. coast of Turkey. We want to boat to cyprus then boat / overland to egypt. We find no boats out of cyprus to anywhere but turkey or greece and none from turkey to north africa. israel. or anything south of Syria . It looks like we can get ferries up the Adriatic to Italy crossing over to Balkens at various points. this is an option but we would rather follow the warm weather south. any ıdeas? (we want to avoid aır travel)

Get to a large Greek island than overnight boat to Athens from there I believe there are boats to the middle east and north Africa.
Have you considered pessage on a cargo vessel?

Hi,

no the ferry to Haifa doesn't operate anymore. You have to cycle.

Ooops...missed this and I will repeat myself; go south down towards Tarsus (with any luck you will see Incirlik which is a huge American Air Force base) and head east. Then, go along the coast through Jordan and Syria to Egypt.
