Foo - Yo, Tude, asesino de cucaracha

Yeee-aahhh! Just having commuted to work - with the last 10 minutes of sheer "riding joy" in having people cut me off - badly (one woman cut me off and nearly hit 2 people walking - JUST SO SHE COULD get into Dunkin Donuts with her big arse vehicle and park to get her donut fix ... needless to say - I was not silent - actually I followed her in. Hehe - told the security guys on the first floor - any cop looking for an angry woman bicyclist - that's me.

Anyway.

So I take the elevator up - walk down my hallway and MOST AUDIBLY - yelled "OHHH NOOO!!"

hehe, boss came running out - and she too yelled "OMG - THAT'S DISGUSTING" and went in to call maintenance. See this old building downtown is just like the rest of them - infested with the big ole American roachies - but this one - so I thought was a slow mover - nah, thing took off like a bullet.

And so here's me - parked bike against the wall and armed with a coffee mug someone slipped me raced down the hallway for it - up the wall, down the wall, the little effer was full of speed. Past a couple of women looking at me weirdly - till they saw what I was doing and then they took off.

Finally.

I got it.

Boss is still following me saying "OMG THIS IS SO DISGUSTING". College starts in a couple weeks, may they get their butts in gear and spray.

Have to say every time one pops it's nasty head out, my boss's reactions send me into gut wrenching laughs - she's so audible and ... the situation ends up being hilariously funny - even the maintenance people are in hysterics as they clean up the dirty deed.

talking about cockroaches, i once saw a very disturbing seccretly filmed investigation into a well known pizza chain restaurant.

I've sat at a place eating a great pizza when two very bold ones climbed over the table top and hopped into the pizza box. Quick little "POINK", roachie did a nice 90 degree turn in mid air - only to land on another table, but unused.

Back to eating.

Never had another pizza there again though.

i bet if you drop a slice on the floor you just give it a quick brush.
