Hey guys I am new here, great site by the way. I haven't ridden a bike in a while but I would like to get in better shape so I dusted off my old mountain bike and have started ridding it around the block a few times each day. I am a younger guy (23) and not fat (165 and 5'10) but man am I out of shape. The bike I ride is horrible for what Im doing with it (it's a Schwinn Sidewinder from Walmart) but it's better then no bike at all. I look forward to getting more into cycling and learning as much as I can from everyone here, just wanted to say hello and let you guys know I'm here so I wouldn't be a lurker any longer.

Thanks,

Reg

Right now I ride in my neighborhood in Brandon, MS I haven't ridden a bike in couple years and never did much road biking so I want to get more comfortable with the bike before venturing out on any public roads. The road right outside of my neighborhood is fairly busy, I also have absolutely no endurance right now and really don't want to have to resort to calling my wife to come pick me up.
