Foo - Anyone ever used "Power Grip" pedals?
Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Bike question...sorry. :o
Sometimes I'd like to have a pedal I can just use(on my roadie) with regular shoes and are easy to get in & out of. Anyone ever used the Power Grip pedals? Any opinions...good, bad?
I use them on my commuter and love them because they're easy to get out of, and reasonably easy to get into with a bit of practice. When adjusted properly, they hold your feet pretty snugly. I get the impression that they let you comfortably ride with a much larger range of shoes than normal toe clips.

...... try out that search thingie).
Thought of that after I posted...duh. :o
Read some good and some just OK opinions. Nothing real negative.
This is foo, we don't talk bikes here! Who do you think we are, cyclists or something!
(never tried them)

I put some on a bike for a little girl with cerebral palsy. They allowed her to ride when she couldn't without them.
AFAIK they work well, but I'd go with clips and straps myself.
While people seem to like Power Grips and Feetbelts, you might also look into half-clips. MKS makes them in regular and deep (for taller shoes). I have a pair on a bike, and they're pretty nice.
I have a brand new pair (went clipless on all bikes). You can have them if you want them. pm me.
I've received some bike gifts over the years from people, so I'd like to return the favor ...
