at the Virginia Commonwealth games in Roanoke? Just curious. I'm registered to race in the cat 4 group. I suspect it will be real fast since it's only 32 miles.

That was a tough course was'nt it :)
It was the first small ring race I have done this year. I played my cards right untill that last evil climb to the finish where I tried to go to the small ring too far into it and it just wouldnt go down. ended up in 4th awe poor me no medal :( But on the brite site it's my first points in cat 4.

Tougher than I expected, but I liked it!
4th was a good finish... you dropped some strong riders! Thanks to that climb to the finish, I now have a new max observed heart rate! :eek:
I blew it at the start of the second lap on the long, gradual climb. I hung on the wheel of the leader, who was pushing the pace, 'til the top of the climb. We turned right and he pulled off to let me pull. By the time I pulled off, I was too blown to catch back on the tail. C'ya.
I soloed in for a finish somewhere in the top 10 (I hope... don't know yet), which sounds okay as long as nobody knows there were only, like, 25 in the class. :(
