Hello, for everyone out there that knew my dad. I just wanted to drop a line to let you know he passed away on june 2nd at the age of 83. He worked for schwinn bicycle company from the time he was 16 to the time he was 73. He lived and breathed schwinn his whole life. To all his friends out there i want to express our appreciation at the outpouring of sympathy our family has received.thank you again carol
( he was a schwinn service school instructor and traveled all over the country. He worked his way up from the basic job duties when he was 16 to going in the navy and going right back to work at schwinn) it was the only job he had his entire life and he loved every minute of it.

Gary fusz will be remembered for ever as part of the wonderful world of schwinn bicycle company...
Wow, that's a pretty cool legacy to impart here, thank you! And very sorry for your loss. I have a couple of senior citizens in my bike club whom I love dearly - one of which who (love talking to this man with the bright twinkling eyes) until a few years ago (he is now 80) used to give our club commuting workshops - why?
Cause he stated that he rode his bike to school since age of 5 - and then always commuted - till he had a stroke, on the bike, at the age of 76. He rode year round - even in the nasty weather of NYS - Lake Ontario bad snow storms - and I saw what he manufactured and wore. One awesome man.
And I'm sure, should they have met - would have had some very, very great stories.
Thank you for sharing! :)

My thoughts and prayers to you and your family and flatlands and following winds to your father.
It sounds, that he loved the life he lived, you have my condolences.
