Well folks, Ive been trying to trade these frames for a while but decided to just sell them outright. Id certainly trade them if you have something Im looking for though
A 55cm Somec. The original owner said he bought it new in '99 but I contacted Somec and they seem to think (through very broken english) its older. But they never said how old... Most of the decals are flaked off and there is a small patch under the top tube where the paint is gone, but no rust or anything. No dents or anything like that either. The Columbus is barely discernible and Somec said it was made "of the highest quality Columbus," whatever that means? Im asking $250 for it
A 57cm Vitus 979 in pink. I do not know of a way to date these so no idea of age. Pretty good condition. The aluminum would probably take a nice shine, but I have not tried. All the joints are good. Im asking $180.
I shipped a frame not to long ago and I believe the shipping was around $40.
What Im looking for in trades:
Campagnolo Deltas of any description (someone has to have a set of these they dont want!)
Id LOVE to trade both frames for a vintage track frame in the 56-58cm range (id even eat the shipping)
A modern steel frame like the Soma Smoothie, also around 57cm...
A decent .17hmr (lots of prairie dogs in my new location) jk, kinda
Would give a finger for a Zeus as well but thats the longest shot of all!
Let me know if you have any questions or would like pics/measurements of anything.
Cheers,
WjV
