Great Lakes - Wilke 1-2, Wilke 1-2

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Can you post here about your camera?

Pretty cool video in that thread.
When I was carrying Wilke's camera at Sheboygan (the camera obviously slowed me down, FYI), I was thinking it would be cool if it could be mounted so that a powertap head unit would also be in the picture... so you could watch the wattage go up and down with the riders efforts. The guy in the video seems to have done something along those lines.

Okay, trying to reset my password over there. There are lots of cool places to put a camera, but for racing, my number one concern was safety of the rider(s) in case of a crash. (In hopes of a crash?)
Ideally, I'd go or a bullet cam:

You could put that anywhere. BUT, where do you put the video recorder? Not a problem for
training or touring, but racing? Hmmmmm.
If you could use a data logger and record the Powertap info in real time, then I'm sure you could
put a split screen video together showing the ride and the telemetry. Again though, these ain't cars
we're talkin' 'bout!

Speaking of video ... here's a neat one thanks to Mr. Tilford:
