Can someone tell me front sprocket what gear outside or inside makes it toughest to peddle

back sprocket same........

I want the bike at MAXIMIUM TOUGHNESS TO peddle for hardest workout?

Biggest front
Smallest Back
(both outside rings)

The question is, why would you want to do this, and why couldn't you figure this out by simply pedaling and shifting through the combinations?

I felt that it was not hard enough to peddle and was not sure if I was in that good of shape..I love the mountain biking being an ex runner I need a good fix.
