Glad I found this forum, as my beloved Guerciotti has been gathering dust in the basement since I injured my neck in the 80s, and it sounds like there's some interest.

Asking $300 but will entertain offers for 1 week. Pickup in Caledon, Ontario, 35 minutes Northwest of Toronto. Possible pickup in North York in a few weeks time.

It's in decent shape but not mint- it was raced for 2 seasons but never crashed.
There are a few flakes in the paint, and some pitting on the chrome.
Still a nice piece of Italian Columbus artwork.

Here are some more pics of the bike
http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/rehrlich1/Guerciotti#

Some specs- 52cm or 20.5" frame.
Campy Nuovo Record rear derailleur, down-tube shifters.
Dura- Ace front derailleur
Ofmega cranks
Modolo Speedy brakes, gold anodized. (hoods have hardened over the years of course)
Rear wheel- mavic rim, Ofmega sealed hub. Front wheel got stolen by some dork.
The rear tire in the pic is a trainer tire (not included- I'll swap a road tire)
Shimano 600 pedals.

I have Campy Record pedals but will keep them if offers are low.

No chain included.

Thanks for looking!

will you ship?

I'd rather not. There was some interest in the Toronto area, but let's see what happens by next week.

Hey,

If you don't mind me asking how much did it go for? There's a nice complete Guerciotti at my LBS that he has tagged at $300 and I think he is definitely willing to bargain. Thanks!

It sounds like the one at the LBS is right in the ballpark. I took off $50 from the sale price of $300 as I kept the Campy pedals, and it sold right away to an acquaintance of mine. I later heard from another friend that he would have gladly bought it, so I think it's very reasonable, if identical to mine.

I'm just glad it will get ridden.
I threw my neck out again last week just before Logs, Rocks and Steel which has a long hard mountain bike component on the Championship course, and if I didn't have my 'bent I'd have DNF'd. (We actually won our category). It looks like I'll never ride a roadie again. :(
