Don't like to be suckered into looking for the latest & shiny-est, but as I'm about to buy a new road bike I wondered if anyone knows if Ultegra and Dura Ace components are due to be overhauled for the 2005 model year? If it's anything radical and for-the-better I may wait a month. Thanks

Aww crap. So if I get a 2004 105 bike, it wont be straight swap out for better bits in the future. Just my luck to be getting back into the sport when such a change over is occuring.

Thanks for the info. If the new Ultegra is only out at Xmas I won't wait - I'll miss the decent weather!

you can just buy a pair of Shifters, Cassette and chain to upgrade to Ultegra 10 or DA 10 - the rest can be kept the same.
