Well I did 62 miles today for the first time. Perfect weather. I am fortunate to live within riding distance to this trail. It's follows the Little Miami River in SW Ohio. The river is designated as a National Scenic River. The trail itself is a state park.
One nice thing about the trail is there are few stops. Here is an exception.

This cat hangs out at the South Lebanon Picnic shelter. I usually see him there most trips. I think today he recognized me and was beggin for food.

The river is used for canoe trips. There are several outfitters you can rent from.

The river valley was home to Indians back in the day.

Every once in a while you can see farm land such as this meadow.

The river has smallmouth bass in the deeper pools. Overall it's pretty healthy, fortunately.
