Crack'n'fail

So, I was out on my Wed. night group ride and it was truly a bizarre ride.
First off, we saw about 10 deer in about 6 different places. We had a guy in the group who had just had a car crash a couple of days before, and a guy who just got diagnosed with some kind of fluid sac affecting his heart. (just to let you know, he was still a hammer)
So, we hit this climb late in the ride and the heart condition and I were ahead of everyone when this car full of teenage girls went zipping down the hill and shouted something incoherent out the window at us. Didn't think much of it. Turns out that down the road behind us, one of the other riders was having some problems with her asthma (wow, what business did we have riding?) and had stopped for a moment but was now peddling up the hill after us when that car full of girls came along and swerved across the yellow line at her with their hands out the window and ran her off of the road. (as if she hadn't suffered enough.)
Well, turns out that a police officer was pacing behind her up the hill since the corners were blind. Blue lights and sirens and he was off after the girls.
Well, we didn't get to see them get there's but it sure was gratifying to for once not have to ask "Where's a cop when you need one?"
