Hybrid Bicycles - Suntour NCX-D LO forks on a SCOTT bike

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

My old hybrid was (sadly) badly damaged when it flew off the roof of my van (my own fault) while we were travelling in Newfoundland this summer. It had a solid front fork which I liked for most (but not all) of the riding I do. I found a SCOTT P2 Sportster which has a suspension fork with a lock out which I find amazing.

The fork is a Suntour NCX-D LO and has a blue "switch" on the right side for the lock out and an adjuster on the left for adjusting pre-load or sag or something. As I have never owned one before I would like to know the best way to set up and use the fork.
