Are these clipless pedals obsolete? Shimano PD-7401
I have had them for a few years and wondered if I should sell them on an old bike or keep them in case I want to ride clipless in the future. I have never ridden a bike clipless.

Checked on the Shimano product guide and search for 7401 gave no results.
But I should think that cleats must be available for these pedals from your LBS.

I'd say sell them on the bike. If the buyer doesn't want them, sell the bike w/o pedals. then sell the pedals on ebay.
If you decide to go clipless, get something new that you can easily get cleats or replacement parts for.

Whew! For a moment I thought you meant that all clipless pedals were obsolete. I was thinking, what now, are they going to suture the soles of our feet to the pedals?

Looks like the standard SPD cleat would fit to me. All the PD models use the same cleat if I'm not mistaken.

I beleive those are Look ARC compatibles.

I think so too. I think Shimano used to license the Look technology.

Those are Shimano's first clipless pedals, made by Look in France. They will work fine with the Look "Delta" cleats.
Look style pedals.
Delta cleats:
•Red cleats allow for 9° of float in all non Free Arc pedals, and can adjust from 0, to 3, 6, or 9° on all Free Arc pedals
•Black cleats can only be used on non Free Arc pedals, and provide a fixed, no float position
Stocked in most LBS.

It looks very similar to my old Look Delta pedals. I think the same cleats should work on the Shimano pedals too.
